sort of an update, sort of

This is ancient stuff by now.
And I still can't seem to get pictures of all the others..as they sit in my room, in a drawer, collecting dust.

This thang needs an update

I'm only..11 days behind on a current project, which means 5 and a half hours to catch up. I should do that today, since phase two is suppose to begin now.

I still have a lot to update, but I'm not sure if it's worth going back, scrounging up, and posting. Maybe i'll just let it fade away

Sarah and I have been moving into our new house without ease, I have too much stuff...there's no getting around it. Literally.

Summer has treated me rather fairly, Ryan and I made some new friends on the NY trip, which is always nice. We also went to the Whitney Biennial, PS1, and the Guggenheim.

The Whitney was alright, I only really enjoyed a couple of piececs. PS1 hands down was the best for me, Olafur Eliasson was awesome, so was their show of early feminist works. The Guggenheim was pretty good, we got to see Cai Guo-Qiang, which was sweet. I should probably do a post on the shows...but we'll see.

The above sheet is a secondary visual of the performance process. It lays out all the steps we did for each part, 1A - 3A. After the completion of the third step we will then decide what use or role the hair will have.

Preview of

Sarah and I are also going to have a video/live performance piece (and maybe some other pieces) at the Big E's show next Friday. It's going to be curated by Kayla, everyone should come by. It's going to be fixed up really nice (new paint and totally cleaned up!).

Also! Sarah and I have been working pretty diligently throughout the week, incidentally creeping people out, just as our forefathers before us.

I made this last semester for my environmental class. I reused materials from old things that were otherwise going to be wasted (cereal boxes, Art Basel flyers, busted notebooks).
It's now in the possession of Sarah Valdezzz

The last two are either prints or transfers, and I used baby oil to make the paper transparent.

Everything Must Go!

Everything I've made before this semester needs to go. I'm not asking for money, I'm asking for a collaboration. If there's anything on here that you want (pre this semester) let me know, and we can work this out. I'm pretty sure the two big blind contours and the doll have already found themselves a home.. but other than that everything is pretty fair game.

I want to get wild with this, I want you guys to really take part. I just want everyone to realize that once it's in your hands, it's your's and you can do anything you want with it. My only request is that whatever piece you pick, you sign or write your name on it, wherever you want, with whatever you want (which could ultimately mean a complete alteration of the piece). It's all you guys, just let me know.
