Sleep is for suckers

I thought it would be fun to add some color..though nothing is final.

Classwork

Here's a still life drawing to-be-painted for intro.
The last two are homework assignments. We had to draw a baby from memory and from reference. Fun!

Out of order

New Sketchbook

The First one is from fews, then I did a small painting of a rough sketch (the colors came out a little weird on the scan). I also did a blind drawing of Dane at Saul Williams and had some fun with it later. The last one is something I started earlier this week and will continue to work on.

Blast from the past

These were from first semester. We had to do a "water project" and I decided to show a contrast between the ways we use water and take it for granted, while people of other nations are forced to drink sewage and suffer through droughts.

Over all I'm pretty happy about them, but there is room for a lot of improvement.

Creepy

Something I did on Photoshop during Winter Break.

Jill + Pensacola, Spring Break

Geisha, Pen & Ink

In Intro to Ill we have to draw a given subject from memory and from reference. (First one's memory, second one's reference)

Jose has a post of his own.

Some fun blind contours.

Blind drawings of my heart

Mr Bruised, and Happy Surprise.

Just some more fun stuff.

FEWs

Muffin Man, Mummy Woman, and invented Bison Hunter. I wanted to have a little more fun with the last one.

FEWs

This was my most successful FEWs drawing, probably because the model (strangely) happened to look a lot like my roommate.

Portrait Fun

This first one unfortunately was too large for my scanner. It was inspired by not only my amazingly buff bod, but also by a great 3eb song. The last one is a family portrait of my housemates and I as mice, next year's theme is kualas.

First Semester Sketchbook

Here are some (somewhat awfully) scanned images of stuff from my personal sketchbook first semester. They're actually in reverse order, if that matters. This all started out as an attempt to recover sketchbook pages lost to ugly schoolwork, by painting over them and adding collaged blind drawings and the sort.
